The 2017 Howard Ashton final is race 8 on tonight’s 12 event programme and there look to be a heap of chances in the $25.000 to the winner final. Ben Rawlings has 2 major players in Crunchin Numbers and Deputy Speaker both won their respective semis in good fashion here last week and is sure to be right in the finish once again. Other highlights on the program are 2 very strong heats of the Shane McQueen over the 600m which are race’s 5 and 6....

The highlight of tonight's racing must be the 3 strong semis of the Howard Ashton series, which are races 5 to 7 on the programme, they are certainly wide open so it will make for a very interesting final here at headquarters next week. We have a massive 12 events tonight so it makes for an interesting night of punting. The kennel to follow looks to be the Ben Rawlings team....

On Fire would have to be the most consistent and quickest greyhound racing here in South Australia as we speak and tonight he fronts up in race 8 on the programme and looks a special once again. He stopped the clock here last week in a slick 29.44 and from box 2 tonight he looks far too good, other highlights for the night is a very good 600m event which is race 5 and the Rasmussen kennel has their two smart performers engaged....
