Stewards’ Notice – Gawler Gold Cup 2024 Scratching
Connections of LONG HAUL made application to Stewards to scratch the dog from the Gawler Cup on Sunday 27 October 2024 by reason of injury. LONG HAUL underwent a Veterinary Examination in the presence of Stewards and was found to be unfit for racing, presenting with a right tensor fascia lata muscle injury.
A 21 day stand down period was applied, and LONG HAUL was scratched from the 2024 Gawler Cup at 10:00am on Saturday 26 October 2024.
