SA BRED AND OWNED “SOMETIMES SPEEDY” CHASES GROUP 1 GOLDEN EASTER EGG

The National focus of greyhound racing in Australia this Saturday night will be at Wentworth Park where the $250,000 to the winner Marco Meats Golden Easter Egg will be run and one of the leading contenders will be the SA Owned and SA Bred flyer Sometimes Speedy who has qualified for her second Group 1 in the last two months. Owned by Jason Caddy of Surrey Downs and bred by leading trainer Troy Murray Sometimes Speedy has taken all before her since being transferred to the NSW kennels of Jason Mackay where she has won her last 9 starts including the Group 1 National Futurity at the Gardens last month and posted her sixth win in a row at Wentworth Park when she took out her semi final of the Easter Egg last Saturday night. She has drawn box 7 in the final and with her blistering speed she looks a great chance of yet another win and adding to her already impressive record. Good luck to her connections and it’s great to see an SA Greyhound in the National spotlight.
