Mount Gambier Club Room Refurbishment
The Mount Gambier Club Room will undergo a refurbishment commencing this week with an expected completion date in late November.
The exciting project will see the refurbishment of the bar, flooring coverings, plasterboard ceilings, wall panelling and toilets.
In addition, a new staircase will be added to the eastern end of the building for raceway staff to access the control room and a ramp added to the western end of the building for accessibility.
Consultation regarding the refurbishment has been undertaken with key stakeholders, with the Mount Gambier Club playing a critical role in that process. The project is centred around renewing aging infrastructure to ensure that the club room provides a safe and appealing environment for patrons to engage with the Greyhound Racing industry.
The refurbishment will not impact any race meetings with only minor interruptions to amenities and food and beverage service likely. GRSA and the Mount Gambier club will work together to ensure disruptions during this period are minimized and that race meetings can be successfully held.
