The winning feeling was shared around at Gawler on Sunday with 11 different trainers grabbing a winner on the 11-race program which included nine of the 11 winners coming from box one..

There were two races run over the 531m trip, the first of which was taken out by the Ben Rawlings trained Agent Nineteen who won the mixed grade 3/4/5.

From box one, Agent Nineteen showed plenty of speed to lead early holding out Show Me Bucks and Harry to the first turn before opening an advantage down the back straight and kicking away to win by five lengths in 30.70.

It was career win number 16 from just 36 starts for Agent Nineteen and has now finished in the top three in its last eight starts.

The other 531m race went to the Tony Lagana trained Zoe Rose who appreciated a drop-in class as she took out the grade six race in a slick 30.68 in winning by six and a half lengths.

One of the more impressive performances on the card was the Scott Feltus trained Punt and Pints which took out the maiden race which opened the program.

From box one, it was able to jump well with an 8.74 first split and found a comfortable early lead and continued to extend away in winning by 10 lengths in 22.80.

Cash On Delivery extended its recent Gawler winning streak to six consecutive races as it found the front early and held out Go Go Snow down the back before winning in 22.39 which was the best of the night time for the 400m journey.

On Wednesday’s 11-race program, the Richard Stasiak trained Elegant Ritzy continued its excellent recent form making it three straight wins over the middle distance.

After winning over the 595m trip at Angle Park, Elegant Ritzy made it back-to-back wins over the 643m Gawler journey after finding the front early and leading from start to finish.

It was career win number seven in start number 43 for Elegant Ritzy who won in 37.79 which was just 0.01 outside of its personal best for the track and distance.

Colin Swain was the only trainer to collect a double this week at Gawler with a pair of nice winners on the program.

The first was Aviswood who collected his second career win in just his fifth career start with a nice win from box four.  An 8.93 first split saw Aviswood find the early lead and get away from Wait Up and Hello Coco before kicking away in winning by four lengths in 23.15.

Common Queen completed the double for Swain, winning at a value price with a nice run from box one showing plenty of early speed in claiming its second career race in 23.18.
