Tonight's Angle Park Preview

25/09/2014
Racing News

It certainly looks to be an interesting night of racing at headquarters with an even spread across the programme.  There appears to be a couple of good things on the night and a roughie or two could bob up.

Race 1 and he doesn’t have the best form at the moment but he can bounce back into the winners circle and win the opening event.  Valladares from box 4, he is a chance of leading and will take beating.  Kennel mate Nebula is another improver along with Honky Tonk Doll.  Box Up 3.4.6.7

The 2nd and Footluce Diva looks a good thing from box 1.  She has the pace to lead and she can carve out quick times when on the bunny.   Alhanna is another with pace and will be right in the finish.  Box Up 1.2.3.5

Race 3 and this looks a little bit more open with several chances.  There are a couple of runners who aren’t well drawn and will need a little luck on box rise to figure.  I am going with the well boxed Yambla Mick who looks the improver.  Shady Deal was very impressive on debut and will be the big improver.  Add in Grande To Excel along with the pacey Black Bottle.  Box Up 1.2.4.5

Race 4 and Wiregrass finally broke back into the winners circle with a win at Port Augusta over the 503m.  She can be hit and miss early but if able to lead would win.  I am going with Power Merc for second; she is in the Angela Modra kennel and is very strong.  Box Up 1.2.5.8

The 5th and As It Goes will start the punters elect and should land on the bunny early.  There will be several running on strongly and they will be He’s A Villian and Animate.  There could be a couple to put in the First 4 along with Victa Scott and Crash Dooley.  Box Up 1.2.5.7 add in the 8 for a place.

Race 6 and Emerley Senorita is boxed for a bold showing down in box 1.  She has been in outstanding form of late and ran a cheeky race in the Oaks final finishing 3rd after leading early.  So let’s go with her as a stand-out, 1 from 2.4.8.

Race 7 and we have a sprinkle of interstaters and locals.  I have to go with Sidney’s Shadow.  She has the pace to lead and will be very hard to beat for mine. Kalden Gambino is well boxed out in the 8 and Genghis Kahn will be rocketing home late and is always a chance. Box Up 1.3.7.8 in a top race.

The 8th and Galilee Spirit is boxed to win again, he is in outstanding form with 3 wins on the trot all in quick times and looks a special.  Premier Event can be very moody and is a chance of running a cheeky race.  Dakota Premier and Allen Illem can pinch a place.  Box Up 1.2.3.5

This is the Distance event of the night and Psychotic Gold will start a very short priced favourite and should bounce back into the winners circle after last week’s loss.  So she is the stand out 8 from 1.2.4

Race 10 and there looks to be a couple of chances here and I am tipping the pacey Manic from box 4.  He won on debut here in 30.09 and will only improve.  Lannister is more than capable and is hit and miss on box rise but if he leads he will take a power of beating.  Box Up 3.4.6.8

The final event and the Petar Jovanovic trained Lifestyle Lad has his draw and can send us home on a winning note from box 1.  Rapido Gris and Allen Kenny both will be right in the finish.  I like the inside 4. Box Up 1.2.3.4. the 8 could surprise.
