Tonight's Angle Park Preview

TELLING THE TAIL by The Shadow

The feature event on tonight’s programme is race 8 on card.  It is the final of the Coffex Coffee Oaks and we see 8 smart performers who all have a big chance of collecting the major prize of $25.000.  Add to that on our 12 event programme and 4 classy SA Derby heats.

Race 1 and there is a lot of pace in this.  I am going with Galilee Spirit who is coming off a 10L win here over the short.  He looks well boxed and will be hard to beat.  Farmeroo will be a big improver and will be right in the mix.  Box Up 1.3.4.7.

The 2nd and Frattini is the 1st reserve for the Oaks and she was a very good 3rd here last week in 29.85 from this draw.  She will be improved by the run and looks a special so we will make her the stand out for the trifecta.  Box up 2 from 4.6.8.

The 3rd and this is the 1st heat of the Derby.  Iva Vision has all the wraps on him and has trialed here in 29.80.  Dyna Alchemist is in form and has drawn box 1 and will be right in this.  They look the main two for mine.  Box Up 1.3.7.8

Race 4 and Hostile has been burning the track up both here and in Victoria and will only need to begin and will win.  Wind Whistler is in a top kennel and is another who is in form.  Box Up 2.4.6.7

Race 5 and the book ends are the main chances in this.  Both are in form and have drawn very well.  They appear the stand out for the trifecta.  So let’s box up 1.8.3.7.

The 6th and we are half way into the programme and Dyna Villa is in fine form and has notched up 4 wins from his last 5 starts and will be very hard to beat.  Local sprinter Aston Kane is another with a picket fence next to his name and has the pace to cross.  Box Up 1.2.5.7

Race 7, Hellyeah Bolt stumbled on box rise here last week and still managed to run 2nd in 30.07.  He will be the big improver for mine.  Sidney’s Shadow should start the punters elect and is another who is in form.  Box Up 1.3.7.8

The Coffex Coffee Oaks final is race 8 on the programme and what a race it is.  Oakvale Destiny is a class act on her night but needs to improve her box manners, I still think she will win.  Spring Amanda is drawn to perfection down in box 1 and will hold her own.  Mepunga Hayley has pace and could make it a Quinella for the Jeff Britton kennel.  Box Up 1.2.3.4 in a fantastic race.

Race 9 and this appears a wide open betting affair as there are several winning chances.  The improver should be the 4 runner as he was placed here last week.  Idle Ways has won here in the past and would be hard to beat if he lands on the bunny.  Premier Event can be hit and miss but is another who is smart when on song.  Box up 2.3.4.6.

Race.10 another good betting race and this event has a bit of pace in it.  The bookends both have a big chance.  Add in Senni Tony and Stop Scrammin who both are very strong.  Box Up 1.2.4.8

The 11th and this is the distance race of the night but Psychotic Gold will start the short priced favourite.  She should lead from go to woe so let’s go for a $1 unit in order.  8.1.4

The final event is race 12 and we hope we are well in front by this race and load up on Kalden Blanco down in box 2.  Add in Sundance Rock, Velocity Dash and Lifestyle Lad for the placing’s.  Box Up 1.2.6.7
