Not much to say here but what an effort from Luna Jinx last week, if you were betting “live in running” you would of got double figures, she spotted them 10 lengths with 300m left and spaced them. She has drawn her ally tonight and although this is a top grade field, I can’t go past her. The best roughie to fill the multiples is Springvale Clint which was a great run coming third at his distance debut last week and will be improved for the run. It’s tough to go against Psychotic Gold, she didn’t do much in her heat but is too good to risk. He’s a Villian should lead and will cut out some impressive splits, but tired badly in the heat and looks to have the job ahead again tonight .  Grifter Bale has drawn wide where he wants to be but got given a cold by Luna Jinx last week in the heats. He showed in the SA Distance Championship in March that he is a stayer of the future and will be right up there early, if there’s any trouble he will be the one to capitalise on it.

 

 

There is a lot of depth in this final tonight after the heats last week despite the fastest heat winner, Sugar Ray Lee being injured on Monday night and likely not to take his position in the final. That being said, Fast Noodle has box 1 here and beat himself last week as he was going to go straight past Barnes Bay in the final straight. He ran in behind Barnes Bay and cost himself the win. If he handles the red box and races better in a field he looks the favourite and the one to beat. Penny Grove won her heat on debut in South Australia and has strong interstate distance form to her name. She handles wide draws and has the ability to lead or come from behind but she will need to avoid Taser McBain on the first turn which always jumps well and stays away from the rails.  Cosmic Shez and Barnes Bay will also show a ton of early dash but Cosmic Shez likes to stay off as well and will give all runners below a clear run to the first turn. Getty Bale for Wendy Matcott has so much potential that can jump well and has a solid run home, so in tonight’s race it would be no surprise to see her run well. There is so much early speed in tonight’s AGRC final it’s made for greyhounds that can get home hard which look to be Fast Noodle and Getty Bale. Throw in Victa Brooke for your First 4’s who could surprise.
