MEDIA RELEASE – TONIGHTS ANGLE PARK PREVIEW
Another week has passed us by and yes! It’s Thursday again and its time to pick a few winners. The 11 races on the programme tonight look fairly even.
Let’s kick off with the first event on the card. Lango had to work very hard early last week and ran a handy 3rd from a wide draw tonight. Looks a big chance from box 4 and looks the likely leader. Deadly Impact has been struggling of late but is more than capable when on song and a win wouldn’t surprise. Add Mad Monza who will be carving across early for the trifecta.
Race 2 and the Terry Cahalan trained Danger Sign was a quick winner here last start in 29.96. A repeat performance would win this event. Bogie Prince is another who is in terrific form and has the pace to lead, add the 3 and 7 for pick 4 punters.
Aston Zizzle, from box 2 in Race 3 tonight looks the one. Won from this draw in quick time at Gawler last start and will be very hard to beat again here at headquarters. There are several chances that can fill the placing’s and I went with 2-3-4.
Race 4 and this looks one of the better bets on the card. Kathleen Johnstones, Encosta Kahn. He has the ability to cross from box 7 and should prove too good in the run home. The main dangers look to be the inside 3. They all can be hit and miss on box rise but look for these ones to fill the placing’s box up 1-2-3-7.
Onto the 5th event and this is a very good 600m event. It’s very hard to go past the Todd Kelly trained chaser, Fair Change. She is very versatile and is in terrific form of late. She should lead and win. The BIG danger is Tercel who rattled home here last week to pip Fair Change on the line. Tango Man for the minors.
Race 6 and the Robyn Mackellar trained Good Asset Gets is nicely drawn in the red. She can be hit and miss on box rise but is very strong and can hold the rails early and prove too strong. Senni Tony is a big show again and is in good form. Russian Fighter is a favourite of mine and is always a chance, is well drawn out in the grandstand (box8) box up 1-2-3-8.
On to the 7th race on the card. Russian Red and no that’s not a number on a Roulette table, he looks well drawn and won in a quick time at Gawler last start from this draw. The Mundy kennel is in form and should go home with a winner tonight. The main dangers look to be Max A Zillion and Wave Jockey .
Young Snozz hasn’t put a paw out of place in recent runs and should continue on his winning way. The inside draw of 2 is a bonus and he can possie up and salute again. Prank Call has changed kennels and is always a chance along with Springvale Cool and Mark Of Love. This is the BEST race of the night and there looks to be several chances but the Snozz is the pick of them.
Race 9 and the distance event looks a race in two with the pacey Miss Woods and Cousin Callum. Both have different racing styles and the latter will be very hard to beat. Box up 2-4-7-8.
The last two events are very open. Race 10 box up 2-5-6-8. In the 11th the box draw should decide this one, with the Dean Decrea, Oogaboo Oz, she is more than handy and should lead and win and hopefully send us all home on a winning note.

Race 7 tonight at Hobart will carry an extra bonus for punters, it will include a Any 2 Jackpot of $4,273.
