Thrilling First Win for Peter Goodes
There is nothing quite like celebrating that first win as a trainer.
Race 5 on Saturday morning at Angle Park brought that special moment for trainer Peter Goodes.
The race started like a dream with a great jump out of box 1 there was no catching Stiff Upper Lip as he the led the pack the whole way around the 388m trip.
While it wasn’t the first win for this dog, there is still no taking away the first win as a trainer. After only having Stiff Upper Lip in his kennels for a few months, Peter was thrilled with the result.
