Revised Trainer Fee Structure
Revised Trainer Fee Structure to be implemented from October 1, 2021
During the recent presentations to industry regarding prizemoney there was a substantial amount of feedback in relation to the Away Fee. That feedback resulted in a sub-committee of the member clubs convening with GRSA to review the structure for all trainer fees. A new structure for trainer fees is tabled in the document below. The overarching goal of this new structure is to find the fairest allocation of fees to trainers.

Distance Fee
A new subsidy is being introduced to help assist with the additional costs of travel between Mount Gambier and Gawler/Murray Bridge. An additional $25 per registered trainer will be paid for Mount Gambier participants travelling north to Gawler or Murray Bridge and similarly, for Gawler or Murray Bridge participants travelling to Mount Gambier. GRSA understands that $25 does not cover the total additional costs of this travel. Rather, this subsidy plus the $40 per dog away fee, is provided as additional support that was not previously available and in combination with other changes being announced is considered to be the fairest allocation of fees to trainers.
The new fee structure will be implemented from October 1, 2021.
