Price bags treble at The Bridge.

Friday’s meeting at Murray Bridge was a big afternoon for Nicole Price who collected a treble on the 10-race program.

The first winner of the treble was Oakvale Outlaw who continues to excel as an up-and-coming short course star with a slick win over the 395m journey.

Showing plenty of early dash, Oakvale Outlaw was able to open up a big advantage around the turn and pulled away winning by ten lengths in a best of the day time of 22.09.

The win improved Oakvale Outlaw’s record to eight wins from just 10 career starts and continues to impress as one of the best chasers across the short distances in SA.

Sweet Soul made it two winners for Price winning over the 455m trip with a 25.71 run which was career win number five from 14 starts.

Sweet Coin Babe rounded out the treble for Price, making it four wins from seven starts in South Australia and back-to-back wins at The Bridge narrowly defeating Hey Day in 25.78 over the 455m trip.

Also at the Bridge, the ever-consistent Zambora Blaze grabbed a win for trainer Steven Brook. Getting away evenly with the field, Zambora Blaze found the early lead  and pinched a break with some trouble in behind it on the turn.

It proved to be enough as Zambora Blaze held off the fast-finishing Compton Buster and Woodside Johnny to win in 29.93.

Others who collected wins on the Murray Bridge card were the Tania Foster trained Caesar who claimed the juvenile race in a slick time of 22.11 from box four.

Rob Harnasc ontinued the recent excellent form for his kennel with Westies Pride winning in 22.23 over the 395m trip while the Craig Jaensch trained Hurricane Carter was a nice winner over the 455m trip.

Excessive heat in the Murray Bridge region saw Tuesday’s Straight Track meeting cancelled after the meeting was initially moved to the morning.
