Power Issues at Gawler last night
Last night’s Gawler meeting was abandoned after race six due to a power issue onsite.
The issue related to a blown fuse at the SA Power Networks infrastructure on the property boundary near the kennel house. Unfortunately considerable time is required to replace these fuses, resulting in the requirement to abandon the race meeting.
Power will be restored today and operations at the venue will continue as normal.
GRSA is discussing the matter with the Club and expert consultants to establish if improvements in the power connection to site can be made to prevent any future failures.
