Port Augusta in doubt this Saturday due to Heat
PORT AUGUSTA IN DOUBT THIS SATURDAY DUE TO HEAT
GRSA recieved just over 40 nominations for the Port Augusta meeting to be conducted on Saturday which is at the low end. Port Augusta is expecting extreme weather conditions this week with Thursday, Friday and Saturday all forecast at 40 degrees and higher. The next weather update for the region will be at 5pm today so GRSA will not draw up the meeting until that update is considered to give the club every chance of racing. If it remains at those high temeratures GRSA will cancel the meeting giving particpants every opportunity to nominate elsewhere.
