Port Augusta Cancelled on Saturday due to heat
The Non TAB Port Augusta Twilight meeting set down for this Saturday 5th March 2016 has been cancelled due to expected excessive temperatures forecast for this region.
Due to excessive heat forecast over a number of days, staffing arrangements, over 1/3rd of the greyhounds travelling a significant distance to the venue and limited reserves for the meeting the meeting was cancelled. This decision was made this afternoon after the forecast was updated to give the club and participants as much notice as possible.
Port Augusta’s next programmed meeting will be on Saturday 19th March 2016.
