Patrons oncourse Tues & Interstate noms accepted
After considering the recent advice by the SA Government regarding certain restrictions being lifted at midnight on Monday night, GRSA will make the following changes, subject to any change in health directions.
1. Non-essential persons and patrons will be allowed back on course for all greyhound race meetings and trial meetings in SA
2. TAB operators will return at all venues
3. Facemasks will be strongly recommended but no longer mandatory
4. Inside our venues there is to be 1 person per 2m2
5. Outside our venues there is to be 1 person 2m2
6. There are still restrictions regarding capacity inside and outside our venues which will be monitored by staff
7. GRSA immediately will accept nominations from ALL interstate trainers which will allow Victorian trainers to nominate for SA meetings including next Thursdays Mount Gambier meeting which close at 9am tomorrow
8. Victorian trainers when nominating should ensure they satisfy both SA and Vic Government requirements to cross into SA and then return to their home state
As advised the oncourse changes will take effect from midnight Monday night so all race meetings prior to this will be conducted under the current criteria. We thank our participants for their ongoing support. GRSA continues to follow Government advice which has allowed racing to continue through COVID-19. Now is not the time to be complacent or have personal opinions jeopardise the ongoing future of our industry. GRSA still requests anyone feeling unwell not come to our race meetings and immediately seek SA Health direction.
