Oaks trials at Angle Park
Last night at Angle Park Jeff Britton from Victoria trialed two of his kennel starts in Mepunga Hayley and Oakvale Flyer in preparation for next weeks Group 3 Coffex Coffee Heats. Mepunga Hayley who is a winner of over $180,000 in prizemoney and recently won the Group 1 Hudson Pacific Maturity Final trialed first and impressed with a 4.50,16.99,29.85 performance over the 515m. Oakvale Flyer who has been placed at Group 1 level behind kennel mate Oakvale Destiny in the Sapphire Crown showed good speed to record a 4.48,16.91,29.94 performance.
The Oaks, Derby and Adelaide Cup series are shaping up to be one of the best in recent times.
