OAKS TRIALS & DERBY TRIALS

The Group 3 Coffex Coffee Oaks and Schweppes Derby are just around the corner and Thursday night we got the first taste of the Interstate contingent coming across. Dustin Drew from Dennington in Victoria was in charge of Frattini who is a winner of 6 races from 8 starts at Bulli, Dapto and Richmond. She went 4.63,17.14,29.80 over the 515m. He also trialled Fratelli Fresh who has also won 6 races from 12 starts including a slick 29.78 win at Sandown 4 starts ago. She went 4.51,17.10, 30.04.

Brett Bravo from Lovely Banks in Victoria trialled a couple and was in charge of Kiltah Magic for the Oaks who has won 4 of her 7 starts including a sizzling 29.49 run last start at Sandown. She went 4.45,17.07,29.87 over the 515m. Hostile was very impressive in his trial in preparation for the Derby. He has won 6 races with 6 placings from 19 starts including a 29.53 win at Sandown four runs ago. He went 4.53,16.99,29.60.

On Monday night Justin King from NSW will be trialling a couple of his nice greyhounds in preparation for the Oaks.  The oncourse patrons will be able to see the exciting Miss Sueko and handy Miss Pocano who should be trialling before the first and in between races 1 & 2. Miss Sueko has won 6 from 19 starts with 5 placings and has been impressive at Wentworth Park recording a slick 29.67 win and running 4th in the NSW State Final of the National Sprint. Miss Pocano also has a handy record with 3 wins and 4 placings from 11 starts with a 30.08 win to her name at WPK.
