National Sprint/Distance Championship Nominations
At close of nominations GRSA had received a total of 43 nominations for the SA State Series of the 2015 Ladbrokes National Sprint and National Distance Championships. There were 28 nominations in the Sprint Series, which compares to 24 in 2014. While the Distance Series has 15 nominations, compared to 13 last year. The Nationals were held at the Cannington last year.
Of note both Oakvale Destiny and Texas Titan are eligible under the domiciliary conditions for South Australia with Group 1 winning sprinter Oakvale Destiny returning to the track after 6 months off due to injury.
The South Australian Heats of the Championships will be run on Thursday 30th July, with the State Finals on Thursday 6th August. The winners of the Sprint Final and Distance Final will represent South Australia in the $75,000 to the winner National Finals held at Wentworth Park on Saturday 22nd August. The Box Draw for the heats will be released on Monday(27th July).
