Kennel Upgrades
This week Gawler will be the last of the South Australian clubs to take delivery of modern stainless steel race kennels.
The new units will be in place for the race meeting this coming Friday, with the kennel house not being available at tomorrow’s trial due to the changeover.
GRSA will take the old kennel units back to Angle Park on Monday, as they need to be taken off the site at Gawler (given it is a public venue).
The maintenance team will take the opportunity to replace some of the old viewing and holding kennels at Angle Park and Virginia.
As was the case with previous kennel upgrades, GRSA is happy to make the old units available for participants on a first come first served basis.
This will also include the kennel units at Strathalbyn, which are still currently at that venue, but will be relocated to the Murray Bridge facility in the coming months.
Participants will be required to organise their own transport, however the maintenance team may be able to assist in certain circumstances.
