Isolynx
Greyhound Racing SA are proud to announce the implementation the Isolynx system at its 4 tracks. This will mean South Australia is the first and only state to have the technology at all tracks.
Isolynx is a localised positioning and data system that is used globally across multiple sports. In greyhound racing, it is used via small tracking chips inserted in the greyhounds rugs, with a number of tracking cameras that have been set up at each track. Isolynx will provide premium data to both participants and punters, ensuring better understanding of greyhound racing which has profound integrity, welfare and wagering outcomes.
Isolynx provides:
- Real time tracking within centre metres
- Real time TV graphics (as seen on Sky Racing)
- Powerful, secure data sets for multiple uses
The data available via Isolynx are:
-
- Speeds
- Acceleration out of starting boxes
- Race paths taken
- Margins between greyhounds
- Distance from rail
- Ability to create sectional points anywhere
- In runnings and sectional times for all greyohunds
- Other custom data points
Below are some screenshots of the data available.
GRSA will advise when the data will become available via the GRSA website.
