GRSA is closely monitoring the COVID-19 cluster outbreak in Victoria.  The situation may rapidly evolve in the coming days. Victorian participants intending to travel to SA to race must be mindful that the SA-Victoria border could close, if the cluster in Victoria expands. GRSA encourages Victorian participants to leave earlier than usual on race days in case there are any unexpected delays at the border. On track staff will be mindful of the situation and will prepare for early arrivals if required. Similarly, South Australian participants in Victoria also need to be mindful of any potential closure and note that, as seen in NSW, long delays can be expected leaving Victoria, to travel into South Australia. Usually, the border closes at midnight the night any announcement is made, but this may not always be the case.  GRSA strongly urges all cross-border travellers to check the GRSA web page, Facebook or Twitter accounts, for the latest details.
