Group Racing Returns to Angle Park in April

Group racing returns to Angle Park next month with the running of the Group 3 West End Draught Distance Championship over 731m and the Group 3 West End Draught Anniversary Cup over 515m on Thursday 11th April. Both finals are open events worth $36,000 with the winner collecting $25,000. This could be the last time these events are run with Group 3 status.

The honour role for both events are a who’s who of Greyhound racing with last years winners coming from Interstate with Cousin Callum for trainer Ray Webster from NSW winning the Distance Championship and Allen Hertz for Victorian trainer Graeme Bate taking out the Anniversary Cup. Heats will be run on Thursday 4th April.
