GRNSW is working with all other jurisdictions to undertake a Chase Motivation Study to characterise and investigate chase motivation in racing greyhounds. The researchers driving the project have developed a survey to investigate attitudes towards training racing greyhounds and what features of lures are most encouraging for greyhounds to chase. The findings will benefit the national industry generally. We ask that participants consider completing the survey - details below....

University Of Sydney Chase Motivation Survey

Researchers at the University of Sydney in conjunction with Greyhound Racing NSW have developed a survey to investigate attitudes towards training racing greyhounds and what features of lures are most encouraging for greyhounds to chase. This is your chance to contribute to the research, explaining the methods of training that are important to you.

The survey results will enable researchers working on the chase motivation in racing greyhounds project to refine their study and understand what those most experienced with getting greyhounds to chase have learnt through experience.

The survey is less than 50 questions and should take between 15 and 30 minutes to complete. Click on the link below for more information and to access it.
