GREYHOUND RACING SA APPOINTS NEW BOARD DIRECTOR
Greyhound Racing SA Limited (GRSA) has appointed Mr Grantley Stevens to its Board of Directors.
Grantley brings to GRSA a strong background in finance and financial management having begun his career with chartered accounting firm Edwards Marshall in 1987, was appointed Senior Manager in 1998 and a Partner in 2002.
His expertise of strategic taxation planning advice and experience across various management consulting assignments, in particular, performing due diligence and business valuation and working with businesses in assisting them to grow and become highly successful are sure to further complement and strengthen the GRSA Board.
GRSA chairman, Mr Michael Fabbro, says Grantley will complement the skills of current GRSA Board members by providing strategic financial input to the Board as well as strong business credentials.
“Grantley brings a wide range of experience in various sectors including entertainment, not for profit, construction, engineering, architecture and hospitality and will bring a breadth of knowledge to the Board,’’ he says.
Grantley has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and completed his professional year with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1991.
A Member of the Taxation Institute of Australia he sits on both their National Education Committee and FBT National Taxation Group.
Among the external Board positions Grantley holds are AW Go Organics Pty Ltd, IEBM Pty Ltd, Nixomax Pty Ltd, Inclusive Directions Pty Ltd and he is Secretary of Alexander & Symonds Group.
