Gawler Tuesday transferred to Angle Park tomorrow

Due to lure issues with the Gawler Greyhound Racing track last night the race meeting programmed for tomorrow (Tuesday 24th May 2016) will be transferred to Angle Park. 

This meeting at Angle Park tomorrow will start at 11.47am with the last of 11 races at 3.14pm. Races will be special event Non Penalty races with all races conducted on the Finish on Lure as this would have been the case at Gawler.

With GRSA maintenance staff and contractors undertaking a full forensic audit of the lure system immediately all racing and trialing at Gawler will cease in the coming week.

The night meeting set down for Sunday (29/5) at Gawler will now be conducted at Angle Park with nominations closing at 9.00am tomorrow. This meeting will be conducted on the Finish on Lure.

A decision will be made on the Gawler Tuesday (31/5) race meeting later in the week depending on the progression of the Gawler lure system.

The trial session set down for Wednesday night at Gawler will be cancelled while the Thursday morning trial session will be moved to Angle Park commencing at 7.00am to be run on the FOL only. GRSA is committed in the pursuit for an effective and prompt solution to the Gawler lure issues that have been experienced recently.
