Gawler to Race on Saturdays During Redevelopment
After advice was received from the Gawler Centrals Football Club and Gawler Greyhound Racing Club yesterday a change has been made to the racing dates during the Angle Park redevelopment where Gawler will be able to host the fortnightly Saturday morning meetings from May onwards. This will also mean that the Murray Bridge Straight track will race every week on Wednesday providing a weekly timeslot for the straight track.
Murray Bridge Straight track will still race on Saturday morning 17th April with the first Gawler Morning meeting to commence on Saturday 1st May. The Straight track will commence a weekly timeslot from Wednesday 21st April.
As the redevelopment nears completion in August there may be some further changes to accommodate venue availability as necessary.
