Gawler and Angle Park to swap next week
GAWLER & ANGLE PARK TO SWAP ON TUESDAY 28TH FEBRUARY & WEDNESDAY 1ST MARCH 2017
The Angle Park track has been booked in for drainage works next week where the contractors require two consecutive week days to complete the works. The best possible outcome is to swap the Gawler meeting on Tuesday 28th February with the Angle Park meeting on Wednesday 1st March allowing for both Wednesday and Thursday of next week free from racing at Angle Park during the day to allow works to be carried out. The Thursday night meeting next week at Angle Park will not be affected.
These meetings will be a straight swap with the Tuesday at Angle Park being a Provincial 2 meeting (prizemoney and grading) run into the catching pen with the advertised feature races remaining and the Wednesday at Gawler being a Provincial 1 meeting (prizemoney and grading) run on the FOL with advertised feature races remaining.
The trials will remain as normal with Angle Park trialling on Tuesday night and Gawler trialling on Wednesday night.
