COVID-19 UPDATES
CROSS-BORDER UPDATE – CHANGES TO CROSS BORDER PROCESS
The SA Government today revealed three new COVID Ready digital solutions that will support the reopening of SA borders.
From 5PM today, all individuals wanting to enter South Australia from 23 November will be required to complete a new border entry process, EntryCheck SA.
EntryCheck SA will assess an individual’s vaccination status, departure location and COVID-19 risk. Based on the information provided, vaccinated individuals may also be prompted to use the new HealthCheck SA app as part of their entry conditions.
HealthCheck SA will help monitor daily symptoms and guide users through any testing and quarantine requirements.
Anyone wanting to cross the border must be fully vaccinated. This will be a police condition of entry. For further information, contact your local health department or GP.
If you want to enter South Australia prior to 23 November you still need to fill in the South Australia Police form at https://www.police.sa.gov.au/online-services/cross-border-travel-application.
mySA.GOV APP UPDATE
From the 23 November, South Australians will also be able to integrate their digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate into their mySA Gov app, making it easier them to show their vaccination status at businesses, venues or events where proof is required.
GRSA RESPONSE
GRSA will operate under the directions of SA police and health. GRSA is presently finalising a COVID-Ready Plan response policy, to ensure that racing continues in a COVID-Safe environment and is open to as many people as allowed under the directions.
GETTING VACCINATED
GRSA strongly encourages anyone not vaccinated to speak to their GP about the vaccination program, so they may make an informed decision on getting the vaccine. Progressively, many businesses are mandating vaccinations as a condition of entry.
