Greyhound Racing SA (GRSA) is managing ongoing resourcing issues as a result of Covid-19 exposures and the requirement for key staff to isolate.

This has impacted our ability to adequately resource the Murray Bridge facility over the next 7 days.

As a result, the following changes will be necessary to the racing calendar:

Sunday (Night) 3rd April, 2022

  • Delete – Murray Bridge
  • Add – Gawler

Tuesday (Day) 5th April, 2022

  • Delete – Murray Bridge
  • Add – Angle Park

In addition to these changes, all trials will be cancelled at Murray Bridge in the next week, with the next trial session now being the morning of Friday 8th April (both tracks), due to the track grade and harrow next week.

  • With racing to now be conducted on Sunday night at Gawler those trainers that nominated greyhounds for Murray Bridge on Sunday night will have to renominate if they wish to compete at this meeting. Sunday nights meeting will be Gawler grading with Gawler Prov 1 Prizemoney. The Heats for the Daish Irrigation and Fodder Maiden programmed will now be delayed to another Murray Bridge meeting. Nominations for Gawler on Sunday will now close at 9am tomorrow with GRSA.
  • With racing now to be conducted on Tuesday at Angle Park this will be an Angle Park Prov 2 meeting for prizemoney and grades. The Heats for the Bitches Grade will be moved to another Murray Bridge Straight track meeting. Nominations for this meeting will now close on Friday at 9am with GRSA.

GRSA would like to remind participants of the requirement to not attend race meetings or trial sessions if you are displaying Covid-19 symptoms or are not feeling well.

Management anticipates that over the next few weeks, last minute changes to the racing and trialling schedule may be required to ensure the continuity of racing.

GRSA apologises for any inconvenience caused and hopes that participants understand the significant resourcing challenges faced by management.
