Boojerooma wins Howard Ashton Final
The Reserve (no. 9 from box 1) was able to pinch victory by a length in last nights Howard Ashton final at Angle Park taking home the $25,000 first place prize in a good time of 29.83. Boojerooma, for trainer Bosco Stamenkovic, settled in behind the favourite Wingard on the first turn and was able to make ground on the leader down the back straight. Boojerooma made it's move on the home turn and was able to score the win by a length over Wingard with Nowak third. This is only Boojerooma's 2nd win from 7 starts, with the chaser looking to have a bright future.
