GRSA is notifying participants of recent outbreaks interstate of infectious Kennel Cough. Kennel
cough is highly infectious and dogs with the disease can remain infectious for up to three (3)
months after the symptoms disappear.

Prevention is largely reliant on regular and annual vaccination and good kennel management.
Participants who suspect a greyhound of having kennel cough should immediately isolate the

Individual immunity to the disease can be maximised by maintaining a regular program of

Kennel Cough is a complex disease caused by various combinations of viruses and bacteria, so

GRSA recommends that all participants speak to their veterinarian as soon as possible about
