TELLING THE TAIL by The Shadow

It’s been a tough week for punters and it doesn’t look any easier here tonight, BUT I think there are a couple of chances at handy odds that can fill the bank.

Race 1 and Max A Zillion will be handy early and will be the one that will be rattling home late, for mine he should prove the goods.  There is several chances who can fill the placing’s and they look to be 1-2-6 for the pick 4.

Race 2 and this looks a race in two, I am looking to Bogie Prince from box 7 as the top pick.  A pacey type who should be too strong.  The well named Danger Sign is in good form but is very hit and miss on box rise.  Should still be right in the mix however.  Looks like boxes 4 & 5 can run the placing’s.

Onto the 3rd and Cosmic Way looks the winner but he is a very ordinary beginner.  Should still win despite the poor draw of box 5.  The pacey Little Waz Bo looks the leader and will be right in the finish.  Add in Sniper Skills and Plaza Suite and the pick 4 appears safe.

The 4th race is very open and I would box up the inside brigade of 1-2-3-4 and then box up the outside lot.  I would also then box up the odds and the evens.  This looks a very tough affair.

Another terrific 600m on the programme in race 5 with Fair Change looking one of the best bets on the card.  She has early pace and should ping straight to the front and be too strong.  Koubek will be rattling home late along with Dyna Daina.

Perfect Life for Kenny Gill is nicely boxed on the rails in Race 6 out of the red.  The big danger is Yasi Girl out in box 6 who has the speed to easily lead this race.  Both have different racing styles but I will tip Perfect Life by a nostril. Add in the 7 and the 8 for the minors.

Jump on Jet Blast who can bounce back into the winners circle in race 7.  He walks early and will be winding up over the last 100m, TOP PICK for the night.  The pacey Good Asset Gets should lead along with Morabito and they can fill the placing’s for mine.

Race 8 and Hopes Up continues to impress and she and can make it 3 on end with her early pace.  This is by far the best race on the programme and looks a good punting race for all.  Box up 1-2-3-5 as the others will be right in this.

Another Stayers event tonight and most Hotel punters like to see these events.  Kalden Mayhem will be the measuring stick.  He will be at the rear early and will be rattling home late.

Cousin Callum can lead but we need to catch him in the right mood.  He can win but is hit and miss.  Box up 2-3-6-8.

The last 2 events are very open, box up 1-2-6-7 in the 10th and 3-4-6-8 in the last.

Happy Punting  Good Luck…..

JOKE OF THE WEEK

A husband and wife were at a party chatting with some friends when the subject of marriage counselling came up. "Oh! We’ll never need that. My husband and I have a great relationship," the wife explained. "He was a communications major in Uni, and I majored in theatre arts.
He communicates really well, and I just act like I'm listening."
