Angle Park Racing Preview - 7.7.16

The feature event of tonight’s racing are races 3 and 4 on the card. These two events are over the 600m and are more than handy and look to be terrific betting races. We have a very open 731m which is race 6 and that particular event is a must for all pick 4 punters. The other 8 races are all over the sprint and let’s see if Worm Burner can continue on his winning way in race 8. Hope you followed last week as we had a very good night on the punt.
Race 1 and we see the return of Caustic Bale. He hasn’t raced since being unplaced here late May, prior to that he was flying and he should prove very hard to beat on his return. Kalispell is always around the mark and is one for the trifecta. Box Up 1.3.4.5.
Race 2, This is a good betting race as there are several chances. I am going with Winthrop Flyer from the tricky draw of 5. She has a good turn of early pace and might just be able to pinch the lead. Sweet Savage is a lot better than last start suggests and can’t be overlooked. Add Tristy Allen, Box Up 1.3.5.8.
Race 3 and this is the first of the 600m events and the Lisa Rasmussen kennel has a smart one in Antique Blonde. She was a winner here by 9L in a slick 35.03 on that run, she would take a power of beating again. Backpacker is another in form and is a must for the top 3. Box Up 1.4.5.8.
Race 4 The Rasmussen kennel features again in this with Sea Winds. She has been very impressive since crossing the border and the extra distance should be a bonus. Dyna Keitaro is stepping up to the 600m and will be doing his best work over the last 100m. Coorabie can be hit and miss but looks a place hope. Box Up 1.2.7.8.
Race 5 and all the pace will be coming from the inside brigade. Mr. Arjay has been racing well from box 1 with two good wins at this venue and is an ultra-consistent beginner. So we will make him our top pick. Aston Morris will be right in the finish from Box 1 as will be Lisheen. Box Up 1.2.4.6.
Race 6 This is the distance event of the night and as mentioned before it’s an open one at that. Springvale Bryne will start the punters elect. She is a front running stayer and has won 4 of 7 over this trip at this venue. Seeking Justice is a newcomer who has earned more frequent Flyer points than most as he is returning from a campaign in New Zealand when placed twice over 779m. He is sure to be well tried tonight and is the one to watch. Box Up 4.5.7.8.
Race 7 Fusaichi Kahn was an eye catching run here last start when 2nd behind Wheel Spinner in 29.96. He has the pace to cross and break back into the winner circle. Alderley Reform continues to run into the placings and can do so again as will Regal Looper. Box Up 3.4.5.6.
Race 8 Its very hard to go past the Cameron Butcher champ in Worm Burner. He missed the kick here last week then powered to the front and carved out a slick BON performance in 29.56. Winning by 5L. He wins again on that brilliant effort. Kennel mate Coorong Kid can run into the placings along with Gun McBain who loves a wide draw. Box Up 2.3.5.7.
Race 9 Huayra showed them a clean set of paws here last start when a BOD winner in 30.00 from box 8. He looks well placed in this and should win again. Falcon Ute can run into the placings from his draw of 1. Add Sheez Stunning from the pink and that’s our trifecta. Box Up 1.2.7.8.
Race 10 This looks a two dog race for mine and they are Monster Foxy and Bella Trix. Both are racing well and should fill the top 3. Play Your Ace is my roughie to run into the pick 4 for Todd Kelly. Box Up 1.3.5.8.
Race 11 Tough race if we are chasing money but I’m very confident we will be well in front. Dream Dazzler has the perfect draw and should continue to keep on improving. Dyna Leona can improve and a win wouldn’t surprise from the wide draw. Box Up 1.4.6.8.
