Angle Park Preview - Thursday 7th November 2019
by The Shadow
We certainly have a terrific 12 event programme ahead of tonight with the highlight being a very strong Grade 6 series final over the sprint, it brings together a quality line up of youngsters in Race 6 aiming to win the Leigh Rogers final worth a tick under $8,000 to the winner. The kennel to follow tonight looks to be the Ben Rawlings team, they have several strong chances throughout the evening, as always, all races are Trifecta and First Four events. (I hoped you backed the Cup winner I tipped in this article last week at a lazy 14/1 😊
Race 1 - Alicante Bouchet was a last start winner in WA winning a Group 2 event in very good fashion collecting $40,000 to the winner. She is very smart on box rise and should go very close in this. Fantastic Yankee was outstanding here at his latest run and is very strong in the run home. Box Up 2.5.7.8
Race 2 - This is a Maiden event and Spring Cobra was very good 1st up when 2nd at Murray Bridge, he is amongst the main chances with early luck. Right Exit has good early pace and is working towards breaking through. Add My Bro Rocks who has been placed in Victoria. Box up 2.4.5.7.
Race 3 - Its very hard to go past Spring Vinnie on his win here last week, he won his Maiden in a very smart 29.96 from box 1, he is well drawn again and is our top pick. Springvale Anna will be powering home late along with Shadow Burner. Box up 2.4.7.8
Race 4 - This is the Distance event of the night and Five Thirty is in outstanding form winning 3 of her last 5 here, she should be close enough early to power home over the top of them. Holy Reign will lead again and run a cheeky race along with Sir Truculent. Box Up 2.4.7.8
Race 5 - Tornado Alley will find this a lot easier than his recent starts, he drops back in Grade 5 tonight and is drawn to run a very cheeky race. Dyna Bitey won very well at Murray Bridge last start after missing the kick, he looks the danger along with Aston Joyner. Box Up 1.4.5.8
Race 6 - This is the Leigh Rogers final and it has some very classy youngsters engaged, Little Earner has won 6 from 6 and she is very quick early which will help her cross the inside brigade, she has been carving out slick times in recent weeks and is our top pick. Coorong Lucy is another very smart pup, she has won 8 from her 13 starts along with 4 placings, she carved out the BON here last week when running 29.56 and is drawn to be right in the finish again. Emerley Zero will be running on and is our value for the First Four along with Conner Peruzzi. Box Up 2.3.5.8
Race 7 - Lenny The Jet led them a merry dance here last start when defeating Emmy Gray by over 5 Lengths in 29.69, he is well drawn and should take beating again on that effort. Better Dream has been hit and miss of late but when on song he is hard to beat. American Man is well drawn and will be strong over the last 100m. Box Up 2.3.4.7
Race 8 - Soda Crash looks our Each Way special for the night, he was a strong 2nd at Gawler last start beaten just under a long neck, he has the pace to lead and can go very close. Billy Fix It loves this draw, he has won 3 of his past 5 and should start the punters elect. Box Up 1.2.4.7
Race 9 - As mentioned earlier the Ben Rawlings team should have a handy night and they look a big chance with Alpha Aion in this, he is very well drawn and is amongst the main chances. Saldana will be charging late and can add value to our First Four along with Blastoise. Box Up 1.2.4.8.
Race 10 - This is the 600m of the night and there are several chances in this, we will stick with Spring Kuda who returned to the winners circle here last week with a slick 35.08 gallop, he is well drawn and should take beating. Canya Chase has handy 600m form at Gawler and he is very smart when able to lead. Spirit Of Pop and Victa Boris for the First Four. Box Up 2.5.7.8
Race 11 - Power Burner is a must for the Trifecta, he has only missed a cheque once in 13 runs at this venue, he is quick early and looks the likely leader so we will put him on top. Cuddles Lee is not overly strong but can run into a place at big odds. Box Up 1.5.7.8
Race 12 - In The Clear won here 2 runs back in 30.05 from a rails draw, he can bounce back from his defeat here at his latest run and send us home on a winning note. Troy The Boy has handy short course form and is worth putting in our First Four, add What A Wish who has been in the money at her last 4 starts. Box Up 1.2.5.7
