TELLING THE TAIL by The Shadow

Boxing Day racing.  I hope yesterday was a good day for all and we all received a big surprise under that tree that comes out once a year.

Race 1 and it’s an 11.42 am start.  Jetta Kahn has pace and appears well suited in this and can cross from box 6 and will take beating.  Miss Party Girl has good form over more ground and will be rattling home late.  Box Up 4.6.7.8

The 2nd and this is a maiden event and it will be a very wide betting affair.  There are several newcomers so let’s go with 1.3.6.8 good luck!!!

Race 3 and Dyna Vanity has a good turn of early pace, box 3 should suit.   We see the outstanding Luna Jinx engaged and with an ounce of luck.  She will blitz these as she will be flying home.  Box up 1.2.6.8

Race 4 and this is a 600m affair and Jackson Bee is more than capable but is very hit and miss early.  Red Can is another who doesn’t have a lot of early dash and will be working home late.  Box Up 4.6.7.8

The 5th and this is a very good 600m event and I like the pacey Black Daddy.  He can run time and looks the likely leader from box 3.  As It Goes continues to be around the mark along with He’s A Villian who appears a big chance.  Box up 3.4.7.8.

Race 6 and I like the inside 3 in book order.  They all have different racing styles but Alderley Reform is boxed to win.   So let’s box up 1 from 2.3.6.

Race 7 and Punishment did just that to a quality field here last start when winning the Doug Payne Final.  He has the pace to lead and win again.  Rinoa Bale is drawn to kick up and will be rattling home late.  Box Up 1.3.5.7.

The 8th and the mixed stake looks a good betting affair.  We see a newcomer in Allen Zentax down in box 1.  He has 7 wins and 20 placing’s from 53 starts.  His recent form has been poor but a new trainer and track could be the trick.  Wheels Of Fire continues his good form along with Lannister who hasn’t missed a place in his last 4.  Box up 1.2.3.5.

The 9th and we will go with Montgomery Road from box 1 and Sakanon Moment from Box 2.  Add Dashing Dee Dee and Gunslinger Girl for the trifecta.  Box Up 1.2.6.8

Race 10 and Wally Harkins has Aeroplane Bowser in outstanding form and he will be very hard to beat again from box 2.  Squall Bale continues to fill a place along with My Party.  Box Up 1.2.3.8

The final event and if we are behind here then we are in trouble.  This race is that open all 8 runners have a chance.  Box Up 1.4.7.8.
