Telling the Tale

Tonight’s 10 event programme has 2 very good 600mtr events which are race 5 and 6 on the programme.  Both have some very smart performers and it is sure to make a terrific final here next Thursday night. Another highlight is definitely the St Patricks Day Sprint in Race 8 as all runners can win on their night.

Race 1 and the Con Haagmans trained Zipping Spice is very well drawn down in box 2 and with her early pace can ping to the front and kick our night off on a winning note.  Black Bottle can run a cheeky race along with the pacey Scarp Missile.  Box Up 1.2.4.8.

Race 2 this is a tricky event with several chances.  I will go with Buttsy’s Bandit down in box 1.  He can be hit and miss early but when on song is more than capable of pinching this.  Springvale Bryne is resuming and is a must for the trifecta punters.  Box Up 1.3.4.8.

Race 3 and if Sunday Shoes steps she will take a power of beating.  The Wilson kennel ventured over to Horsham last start and she proved too strong for a slick 27.16 win from box 1 over the 480m.  On that effort she can win again.  Cash In Looper was a big improver from this draw last start and will be right in the mix once again.  Box Up 2.4.5.9

Race 4 Tinker Bell missed the kick here last start then  made good late ground to run an eye catching 3rd but from box 1.  Can pinch this if she can kick up early. Manhattan Cry is in form with 3 wins from his last five runs and will be rattling home over the top of them.  Add Banker Bale who is ultra-consistent.  Box Up 1.5.6.8.

Race 5 and this is the 1st of the 600m events the book ends are definitely right in the mix as both have a good turn of early pace.  Barely’s Rhythm loves this trip and will be right on their heels into the back and will be flying home late.  Abbie’s Girl   can never be overlooked as she has had a freshen up and should be cherry ripe despite the draw.  Box Up 1.2.6.8.

Race 6 and I like one at each way value and that is the Ray Murray trained Von Dousa in box 4.  He has been racing well of late over the 600m from rails draws but the 4 is his main worry as mentioned before.  It’s a very open affair as Parsec Bale will be rattling home along with Disaaci who is quick early.  Box Up 4.5.7.8. ( GOOD LUCK )

The 7th and I’m like a broken record but the Butcher kennel rarely leaves the track without a winner and Regal Looper is boxed for a bold showing again, and is my top pick out in box 8.  The main dangers look to be Fraya Bale and Getty Bale as both should be in the top half of the field early add Alderley Reform for value.  Box Up 2.3.4.8.

The 8th Tricky event for mine Brando Brown is a smart youngster but is stepping up in grade.  Coorong Kid is flying of late and has a picket fence beside his name and yes he is in that kennel ( The Butcher Kennel ) so it could be  a race to race double.  Box Up 2.5.6.8.

Race 9 and I like one here at Each Way odds and that is Vincent Brown.  He resumed with a nice win at Gawler last week and should only be improved by the run.  Allen Kentucky was a BON winner here last start in a slick 29.77 and is a must for all trifecta punters.  Add in Rue De Rose for value.  Box Up 1.2.5.6.

The final event Race 10 and this is one for all the married men.  Barking Orders I’m sure we have all had them ???  He is well drawn and can bounce back from the rails draw.  Play Your Ace is a speedy type and will give this a shake along with Little Wolf.  Box Up 1.2.4.7.
