Angle Park Preview

Racing News

On an interesting night of racing with a couple of handy races over 600m and 731m.  I can’t wait until race 4 over the sprint where we see last week’s outstanding winner in She’s A Looper.  The Cameron Butcher youngster led them a merry dance and won in a sensational 29.41 at only her 5th start and by over 11 lengths.  With a repeat performance there will be some MASSIVE offers from across the border. There look to be a couple of stand outs on the card so we can build a bank early.

Race 1 and we can kick off with an early winner in Genghis Kahn.  He found early trouble here last start and will be hard to beat from the inside draw.  The main danger is the pacey Yiche and Dyna Fatbob who will be running on.  Box Up 1.4.5.7.

Race 2 and the Lisa Rasmussen kennel is firing of late and Zana Bale can notch another winner for her.  He should kick up early and be right in the finish.  Quite Contrary loves the rails and can’t be left out of the trifecta.  Box Up 1.2.6.8.

This is the distance affair, race 3 on the programme and there looks to be 3 main chances.  Psychotic Gold has been struggling of late but if on song will be hard to beat.  Ulala Bale will be flying home late along with the pacey Here Comes Henry Box who has been in the money in 10 of his 12 starts over the journey.  Box Up 1.4.5 add the 7 for the First 4

Race 4 and we see the flying She’s A Looper jump from box 2 and it would be a very brave person to tip against her on form so we will make her the stand out.  Let’s see if she can go quicker than last start and if she does the Butchers could name their price if they wanted to sell her.   Box 2 from 1.4.6.

Race 5 and this is an open affair over the 600m and I am going with a bit of value here in Dyna Inca.  She has very poor box manners and will be doing her best work over the last 100m.  The pace will come from Oakvale Flyer and Holeshot Hero.  Add in Cyclone Clifford for the pick four.  Box Up 2.3.5.6

Race 6 and this is a good betting race as there are at least 4 main chances with no stand outs.  The leader should come from either the 3 or the 4 runners, both improved last start so they are a must for the top 4.  Add in Jen Zarr Go for value out wide.  Box Up 3.4.5.8.

The 7th and the Murray kennel rarely goes home without a winner and Aston Eclipse was a huge run last start when winning at Gawler coming from last to score.  She normally is a quick beginner and from box 1 is my top pick.  Point Made will be running on along with Brett’s Magic.  Box Up 1.2.4.7

Race 8 and Wild Soul was a good winner here last week in 30.07 from box 3 and he will prove very hard to beat again despite the poor draw.  Danyo’s Frank can be hit and miss on box rise but is a chance of leading the inside brigade.  Regal Looper is too wide for mine but can’t be left out of the top 4.  Box Up 4.5.6.8.

The 9th and another classy youngster in Nitro Looper will start the punters elect in this from box 2.  She has only had 3 starts with 2 wins and a place and should only keep on improving with every run.  Kilter Bale was disappointing here last start after leading when a fading 2nd but is more than capable of bouncing back.  Box Up 1.2.7.8

Race 10 and Tribal One for trainer Aussie Chegia has won 4 of his past 5 starts here and from the inside draw.  Can lead and win.  Margaret Keeping returned to the winners circle  here on Monday and should figure again.  Infrit Bale is a value runner for mine for the trifecta.  Box Up 2.3.4.8

The Final event race 11 and we should be well in front on the punt if you followed so we can have a lash at Match Winner down in Box 1.  He was very disappointing here last start after missing the kick but should find this a lot easier.  French Assassin can fill a place along with Allen Odyssey.  Box Up 1.3.5.6.
