Angle Park Preview
The weeks just keep on rolling on and after a terrific Adelaide Cup series we are back to a good even 11 event programme. So let’s try and back a few winners on an interesting night of racing. The 600m event, race 4, should be a good betting affair as there are several chances.
Race 1 and we can kick off with the Petar Jovanovic trained Temalor. She will be doing her best work in the last 200m and from the rails draw she should be able to kick up and hold a handy position. We must add in kennel mate Lucky Road as he has early pace and is a must for the multiples. Box Up 1.3.5.6
Race 2 and the Angela Modra sprinter in Abbie’s Girl blew the start here last week and was never in the hunt, but she can bounce back and win here tonight. Aussie Noorumba will be flying home late but is better suited closer to the fence. Ritza Tiger has box 1 and could be the value runner. Box Up 1.3.6.7
Race 3 and we tipped him last week and he didn’t miss a beat when winning in 29.91 and that is Zambora Magic, so he gets the nod again. Breaker Kahn will keep on coming along with the pacey Yiche. Box Up 1.2.4.7
The 4th and this is the 600m affair and as mentioned before a more than handy one. I like Holeshot Hero down in box 1. She has a good turn of early pace and should be able to kick up along the fence and run a bold race. The BIG danger is Springvale Clint for Gavin Harris, he is in fine form and will be right in the mix. Box Up 1.2.4.6
The 5th and this is a toughie with several of these that have proven costly with punters of late. But I will go with Mrs Bubbles out in box 7, she is very classy when on song and the wide draw is a bonus. We can add in Fast Noodle who is in fine form along with Lektra Hawk who loves running a place. Box up 4.5.6.7.
Race 6 and Hesa Jayclo from box 1 should be right in the finish, forget his recent form as he gets a chance to possie up early from the rails draw. Cyclone Clifford is a moderate beginner and will be rattling home over the top of them. Scottish Thistle is another who is knocking on the door. Box Up the inside four 1.2.3.4
The 7th and I like one here at a bit of odds, Nebula in box 8, he hasn’t raced since being unplaced at Gawler back in August and could be a smokey for mine at good each way odds. Regal Looper should start the punters elect from box 1 and is a must for the Trifecta. Almost Quoted has won his last 5 all in good fashion and should be right on the pace. Box Up 1.2.5.8
The 8th and he looks the best bet of the night and that is Its Classified. He always looked the winner here last week when winning in a slick 29.57 by over 4L and from box 2 should win again, but he will be skinny odds. Kiss The Hawk is dropping enormously down in grade and will be right in the finish. Add in Excusez Moi for the top 3. Box Up 2.3.4.7
Race 9 and there is a ton of early pace in this. None other than the Trevor Jessup trained Scarp Missile. She should ping and win for mine. Coorong Kid and Alderley Reform should be flashing home. Box Up 2.3.4.6
Race 10 and we will go with the pacey French Assassin from box 4. She led them a merry dance here last start and won in 30.06 with 2 wins from her 4 runs, she will be on the pace early and be hard to beat. Springvale Bryne is well boxed down in the 1 and is the improver. Box Up 1.4.5.7
Race 11 and we can go home on a winner with Just Jackson, he has terrific short course form and hopefully will be flying out in front. Velocity Ash has been struggling of late and is an improver. Box Up 1.2.4.7

Minimum price of $800 (No Reserve)
The main race series Heats and Final are scheduled for May 2017 when the youngest pups will be 24 months old. One month before (April) there will be a Wednesday 388m series with Heats and Final for pups sold at the auction. There will also be a Wednesday heats 515m and Final Thursday night 515m held in June the month after the main race series. This gives the buyer more opportunity to recover some of their expenditure and the breeder greater opportunity to receive breeder bonuses.
The Main race series stakes ($16,000,$5,000, $2,500, unpl $500). Auction Nominator bonuses for main race ($3,500, $2,500, $1,500).
Greyhounds purchased through the auction that are not SA Bred will be allowed the same grading exemptions in regards to Grade 6 and Juvenile races as locally bred greyhounds. The extra conditions for Interstate greyhounds only refer to a grading advantage and have no bearing on the SA Bred pool of money.
