Angle Park Preview
It looks another exciting night of Greyhound Racing with a very strong 11 event programme. The highlights are two strong 600m events and a quality 731m race, which is race 3 on the programme. We can’t overlook the main sprint event of the night, which is race 7, there are at least 4 chances. Good luck on the punt and I like a couple at good odds so let’s hope we get an early winner or two to build the bank.
Race 1 and I will kick off with a good eachway chance in Grande To Excel. He has been racing well over the short and steps back up to the 500m here tonight. The box is my biggest worry. The main dangers are Mrs Bubbles out in box 8 and Breaker Kahn. Box Up 1.3.5.8
Race 2 and the pacey Aston Eclipse can carve across and win again from box 7. She won well last start at Gawler in quick time and looks very hard to beat. Add in My Excuse and Mojito Mayhem for the placings. Box Up 1.6.7.8
Race 3 and the two main chances are Grifter Bale and Psychotic Gold both have different racing styles as one is a leader and the other will be charging home. Manila Express can run a cheeky race in a small field. Box Up 1.2.4.5
Race 4 and this is a very open affair with several moderate beginners. This is a good event for trifecta punters and I will go with a roughie in Always Winnie. He is well drawn out wide and appears a chance. Bangor Blaze is well drawn for a bold showing. Box Up 1.4.7.10
The 5th and I tipped her last week when Cosmic Shez was a handy 2nd on resuming so with the run under her belt she will be right in the mix. Point Made is always a chance along with Shot Of Fear. Box Up 1.4.6.8
Race 6 and if all goes to plan Sunday Shoes should lead and win. She is very smart when on song and is boxed to win. Footluce Diva is an interesting runner as she will be rattling home and could be a surprise leader. Add in Fast Noodle and Hesa Jayclo. Box Up 2.3.4.6.
The 7th and this is a very smart sprint event. The pace will be coming from the 1, 5 and 7 but the run to the 1st turn will be very tight, so I will go with Blurred Lines from the rails draw. He is in top form and can continue on his winning way. Wild Soul will be winding up down the outside and is a must for trifecta punters. Box Up 1.4.6.7
The 8th and this is the first of the 600m events and I will go with my old favourite, He’s A Villian out in box 8. He should be right on the pace early and prove too strong. Lobo Loco can kick up from box 1 along with the well performed Springvale Clint. Box Up 1.4.5.7.
Race 9 and the 2nd of the 600m events and Placid Planet can bounce back into the winner’s circle. He sprouted wings here last start over the sprint and was just beaten in a handy 30.05 coming from near last. He is my top pick and a stand out in this so we will go 2 from 4.7.8.
Race 10 and the two main chances are Genghis Kahn and Van Carrho Flash both have different racing styles as one will be up on the pace and the other charging home so they look the stand outs. We can add a bit of value with the pacey Yiche and Sporting Tears who was very impressive when winning at Strathalbyn last week over the short. Box Up 2.5.6.8
The final event is race 11 and we should go home on a winning note with Aston Coco. She is working towards a win and tonight is the night from box 8. Aston Simone is another who is racing well along with Starling Bale. Box Up 1.6.7.8.

LUNA JINX SHOOTING FOR A TOPGUN STAYERS INVITE
Local staying star Luna Jinx for Gavin Harris will be shooting for a Topgun Stayers invitation if she can knock off a hot field on Saturday night in the Group 3 Top Cat Stayers Final at the Meadows. She has drawn box 2 with one of her main challengers in Lady Toy drawing box 1 which should allow for her to find the rails early. The Topgun Stayers event is added to the Topgun Sprint event at the Meadows on Saturday 24th October in what should be an exciting program. We wish Luna Jinx and her connections all the best on Saturday night.
MURRAY BRIDGE TRIALLING NEWS

ANGLE PARK SLIPPING TRACK - OPENING MONDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER, 2015
Works are completed on the Angle Park slipping track and participant access has been permitted from Monday 21st September 2015. A newly defined empty out area is also almost ready at the southern end of the trainer’s car park to be used by trainers during race days and trial sessions, and for participants frequenting the slipping track.
It is hoped that the slipping track will assist metropolitan trainers for many years to come and provide a replacement for previously available public slipping tracks around inner Adelaide. GRSA will continue to focus on providing easily accessible and well maintained training and trialling infrastructure for participants.
With access to the Slipping Track being restricted the side access gait to the Trainers Car Park will be locked outside of normal business hours which will mean no access to the out of hours nominations box.
