TELLING THE TAIL

by The Shadow

I hope you all followed last week as we had a very successful night on the punt for a change with a few handy winners, I like a couple tonight at decent odds so lets hope we can continue in a forward motion for another week and get a couple across the line, we have 10 events tonight amongst them is a 600m and a 731m, good luck.

Race 1 - We will follow our money from last week with Soda Crash, he was checked straight after the start and was never a chance, he can bounce back tonight and hopefully lead from his wide draw. Oakvale Magic was very good to us last week when winning so we will put her in again along with the talented Alfieri. Box up 3.4.7.8

Race 2 - Des Hockley looks to have a smart one in Maddison Kaye, she pinged the lids here last start and carved out a slick 29.60 from box 4 she is well drawn and looks very hard to beat. Major Major continues to run into a place and is one for our Trifecta along with Spring Vinnie and Cairnlea Pebbles who can improve. Box up 1.2.4.8.

Race 3 - Shanlyn Haven is a newcomer from across the border and was a last start winner at Sandown in 29.86 early last month, he is sure to be well tried on his SA debut. Cripps Dusty stormed home here last week at big odds for us when an eye catching 2nd, she appears a big chance again tonight. Box Up 2.4.5.7

Race 4 - This is the distance affair of the night and it’s hard to go past Sir Truculent down in box 1, he certainly is racing well and looks far too good again. McLaren Dazzler can fill a place along with Kiranna Blue and Aston Chandon. Box up 1.4.7.8

Race 5 - I like one in this at handy odds in Victa Norman, he was a last start winner in quick time over the 600m here, he is back to the sprint tonight and if close enough early will take holding out. Oakvale Astro was very impressive here last start and is amongst the chances and we cant overlook Emerley Hummer who is very speedy. Box Up 1.4.5.7

Race 6 - Boss McLaren can return to the winners circle tonight, he is a class act when out in front and from his perfect draw is our top pick. Diamond Lee, Ask Me Now and Collecting for the minors. Box up 1.4.6.8

Race 7 No Knowledge and Gemtree Dynamo look the top two here with Could Be Magic getting home hard. Box Up 3.4.5.7

Race 8 – This race has been knocked about by scratching’s. We will go with Emerley Fabbro, Wild Looking and Bailey Rocks in order. In Order 4.2.7

Race 9 - This is the 600m of the night and Toora Ziggy is my top pick and is strong along with West On Bamboo at handy odds. In Order 1.6.2.8

Race 10 - Lets hope we can go home on a winning note with Fantastic Pippa who is working towards a win but needs to improve her box manners, if she jumps well looks hard to beat. Editor and Spectral Blade for the minors. Box Up 2.4.7.8
