TELLING THE TAIL by The Shadow
With the Shadow still off in the shadows our friends at SA.THEDOGS.COM.AU have kindly provided their over view of each of our races again tonight.
Race 1 - Good quality middle-distance event to start the evening and like XILE BALE (7) he is a quick winner at his only start here and comes off a strong 2nd last week. TERRIFIC BOBBY (8) good record over this trip and only needs even luck from the wide alley to be in the finish. SPRINGVALE RITA (6) handy 2nd behind the Pink (8) last week and has claims.
Race 2 - First heat of the Brian Johnson and hard to go past Apilla (3) she owns an impressive record over this trip with a quick 30.39 PB and will only need even luck to take this out. CULBURRA (2) fast 22.49 Gawler winner two runs back and can lead from the good draw. BEWITCH (6) strong 30.98 winner here last week. Will find this harder and can place.
Race 3 - Looks a 2-dog affair and DAKOTA RYLEN (2) maps to get all the breaks from a nice low alley. Was a smart 30.57 winner here two runs back and can lead. ZINFANDEL TRACE (7) is the big danger. Good 2nd here last start in smart time and has a great record this trip. FINNISS PRESENCE (1) strong winner at Murray Bridge mid-September and can place first up

Race 6 - Another open affair and lent towards WOODSIDE FRANKIE (3) good 2nd over this trip last week and has the pace to lead from the inside draw. BLACK CHIP (6) has been placed in his past two starts over this trip and looks the danger from the tricky draw. MITZI ROCKS (4) finished a close 2nd here two runs back and has claims on that form.
Race 7 - Good quality Open class event and stuck with CHAPEL ROAD (1) from the inside alley. Quick winner at Gawler last week and is perfectly drawn on the fence. Race 9 - Two dog race for us with SPRINGVALE BRAY (2) getting the nod. Good 2nd at here last week when beaten in quick and will prove too strong for this field. MUSTER (1) is the only danger. Maps to lead from the inside alley and will look the winner for a long way. ZIPPING WHISKEY (4) solid effort when 4th here last week but must find more to win.
