TRIAL BOOKER TO INCORPORATE GAWLER THURSDAY TRIALS FROM 7TH DECEMBER
As previously advised GRSA has been working with the Gawler GRC and staff to transition the Gawler trial booking process to on line, like Angle Park and Murray Bridge for their Monday and Thursday morning sessions.  After consultation at the ICG meeting this will have to be implemented to accommodate certain trialling requirements. GRSA will increase the number of bookings for each Gawler session from 4 to 6 trials per trainer. This is to assist trainers with your greyhounds which trial one after another.

To initiate Gawler online we will start with Thursdays first which will start with the session on Thursday, 7th December. Bookings will close 3pm the day prior (Wednesday, 6th December). GRSA administration staff will oversee the bookings as normal.

Once implemented we will turn our attention to the Monday trial session which will require our race day and offsite staff to manage.

2024 GAWLER PRODUCE STAKES - NOMINATIONS EXENDED UNTIL NEXT FRIDAY 8TH DECEMBER
Participants are advised that the nominations for the 2024 Gawler Produce have been extended until Friday, 8th December.  This series is open to all greyhounds whelped in 2022, irrespective of where they were bred or owned. CLASSIC AND BREEDERS FUTURITY PAYMENTS
Owners of SA Bred greyhounds are advised that the next batch of Futurity payments are due on Friday, 15th December 2023.
The payments due are:
Breeders 2024 – Final Payment (Pups born January 22 to June 22)
This payment is for greyhounds for which the First and Second Sustaining Payments were made. The Final Payment is $121 per greyhound.
Classic 2024 – Second Payment (Pups born July 22 to December 22)
This payment is for greyhounds for which the First Sustaining Payment was made last June. The Second Sustaining Payment is $55 per pup or a Final Payment of $121 can be made at this stage.
Breeders 2025 – First Payment (Pups born January 23 to June 23)
This First Payment is due for Breeders 2025. All SA Bred greyhounds born in the above period are eligible to make this payment. The First Payment is $27.50 per pup or a “one-off” Final Payment of $121 can be made at this stage.
To assist all owners of Futurity eligible pups, reminders were sent out earlier this week. It is perhaps a good idea to make the payment as soon as you can, so it does not slip your mind and the closing date passes. If you have sold a pup/s we would ask if you can forward on the information to the new owner. If you have not received a reminder within the next week and you think you should have, contact Caralyn Fielden as soon as possible.
