Racing News

How good is tonight racing here at headquarters, we are racing on a Friday night and we have the running of the 2022 50Th Anniversary Cup final over the 530m (race 8) on the card, we also have the final of the 2022 SA Distance Championship ( Race 6 ) that looks to have a heap of chances. As always all races are Trifecta and First Four events, enjoy the night on this big occasion and lets back some winners.

Race 1 - We will kick start the night with Woodside Zulu who has been racing at Murray Bridge, he is a  strong type who will be running on and is well drawn. Maybe Wrong has early pace and was a last start winner at Gawler. Zambora Lion was well beaten here at his 1st run here in SA when placed and should be he the improver. Box Up 4.5.7.8

Race 2 - This is the Maiden of the night and Spring Monica was a handy effort here 1st up when running 2nd after showing good pace she should be improved by the run.  On The Whiskey is on debut and is in the leading kennel and must be kept safe. Box Up 1.2.6.8

Race 3 - Harry is my top pick in this, he has been placed at both his runs since crossing the border over the 400m at Gawler, he should be cherry ripe to win here. Spring Pony is well drawn and has been placed at his last four here, he is the danger. Dozing can pinch a place. Box up 1.2.4.6

Race 4 - Sister Roberta is the form runner, she has won her last three including a 30.59 run here from box 3 and should take beating again. Impeached is another, he has a good turn of early pace and has won four on the trot here and Murray Bridge, he looks the danger. Add Jackpot Joan who is well drawn. Box Up 1.2.4.8

Race 5 - Don’t Tell Bluey can bounce back into the winners circle here tonight, he will find this a lot easier than his last start when placed in a heat of the anniversary Cup, we will put him on top. Kennel mate Danyo’s Charlie is our value runner, he can show pace and is well drawn. Beatific is smart when on song. Box  up 2.3.5.7

Race 6 - This is the final of the 2022 SA Distance and Lashes Monelli caught my eye when  running on strongly to finish 3rd here last week, she is a class act with 6 wins from her 9 runs here and should go close. Mr. Ibrox is drawn to have every chance and will be value. Weblec Star has a good turn of early pace and with four wins on the trot can’t be overlooked. Box Up 1.2.4.6

Race 7 - Sambuca Talks is my each way bet of the night he has the early pace to cross and has won his past two here in moderate times. Cobalt Missile is drawn to kick up and is well drawn. Steve’s Regret is racing well but has battled to run a strong 530m here in recent runs. Box Up 1.2.4.6

Race 8 - This is the final of the 2022 50TH Anniversary Cup and Mallee  Magic is our value runner, he won here last week in a BON 30.22 and continues to show early pace. Fantastic Victor will need to ping the lids, he will take beating if he can lead and is the danger. Kinrock Star was a MASSIVE run here when winning, he was last out and 1st home winning last week in 30.39 and must  be respected on that effort. The Victorian visitor Auspicious Queen has the good draw. Box Up 1.4.5.7

Race 9 - Queen On Fire got the biscuits here last week from this draw when leading throughout, she  will take beating again. George The First has been racing well and continues to show early pace in his races. Weblec Mist and Victa Reid can run the first four. Box Up 1.2.6.8

Race 10 - This is over the 730m and Primed can be hit and miss early and will be running on strongly, he steps up over more ground here tonight and is amongst the main chances. Wooden Tiger has been well travelled of late and is drawn to have very chance. Blue By You and Shrek’s Storm for the minors. Box Up 1.4.5.6

Race 11 - This is a toughie so we will go with the first starter Ferocious Pedro who has 2 wins and 8 placings from 32 runs, he is well drawn and must be kept safe. Midnight Tracker and Researched are chances along with Yankee Costanza. Box Up 1.2.7.8

Race 12 - Lets go home on a winner and I’m Gifted has the form on the board and should lead and win, she should be too good again. Lala Hibiscus is drawn to have every chance, she was a good run here last week when running 2nd. Cruze Maguire and Mrs. Missile have claims. Box Up 1.2.4.5
