TELLING THE TAIL by The Shadow

We have a massive 12 events ahead of us here tonight at headquarters with high lights a plenty which include the running of the 2024 Anniversary Cup final, race 8 on the program. The winner will go home with a whopping $34,000 in there sky rocket and the prestigious trophy. The field is a hot one with four interstaters taking on the four locals and I will stick with the inform Riot Rooster out in box 6, he has won his last four here all in quick times but his only down side is he can miss the kick on occasions. Zali Keeping (4) was impressive first up when 2nd and will be much improved by another look around the Angle Park circuit, Buddy Monelli (1) has the prime draw for the final and is right in the mix.
Another final on the card is the running of the SA Distance Championship which is race 4, with only the four runners Lena Jinx looks to have a mortgage on $10,000 cheque and should win by another big margin.

ZIPPING NEUTRON & LIKE WILDFIRE SHOOTING FOR 715 SUCCESS AT THE GARDENS TOMORROW NIGHT
The heats of the richest staying event in the world worth $500,000 will be held tomorrow night at the Gardens in NSW and SA will have two terrific chances of qualifying.
Kennel mates Zipping Neutron and Like Wildfire will take on the 715m heats, they have been sent to Peter Lagogiane for the series by local trainer Tim Aloisi. Zipping Neutron is in race 7 no 4 while Like Wildfire is in race 8 no 3, with four heats only the top two will qualify so running first or second gets the local stars through to the final.
They have trialled at the venue over 600m recently and ran 34.03 for Wildfire and 34.11 for Neutron with the track record being held by Like Wildfire at 33.88 so the greyhounds look to be in top form.
Good luck tomorrow night in the feature series.
