Angle Park Preview - 31st October - Leigh Rogers Final
TELLING THE TAIL by The Shadow
With the Shadow still lurking in the shadows our friends at SA.THEDOGS.COM.AU have kindly provided their over view of each of our races again tonight.
Race 1 - VICTA BOB (3) here to get the night rolling. He's a good dog and has been showing great strength lately. If he can step like he can then he should land very close. ONE LAST KISS (2) is highly talented and with the lack of speed around him he should get the run required. SPRINGVALE BREE (1) is well drawn on the fence.
Race 2 - Think that CHERRY LANE (4) can get a well deserved win here and capitalise on her good form. Has pace on her side and if she settles close then I am confident she will be too strong late. QUINCE BALE (7) was great last week, can win with a shade of luck from this draw. COUNTRY CRUSADER (8) is racing well, just needs luck.
Race 3 - Intriguing race and potentially at some value, HAYRIDE GULDEN (1) gets the nod. He should get plenty of room to work with and he was pretty good last week. Just needs to jump well. RICKI'S BURNER (4) is racing well and will be a big chance here with a quick start. OREGON FAVORS (5) is quick early and looks the likely leader.
Race 4 - Small but a super strong field for this stayers race. BLACK SILENCER (8) is just a beast and can run sizzling times when given a crack. Wants the fence badly, that's the only knock. SPRINGVALE BRAY (2) has returned to his best form and loves the fence. The #4 will give him plenty of room. MUSTER (4) can run quick enough to win.
Race 5 - Ripping little race this and just with the low draw it will be TERRIFIC BOBBY (2) on top. He must navigate the #1 early but if he does then he's a big hope. AMAZED BY YOU (8) is going super, would love to see her get a clear run to show what she can do. WOODSIDE JOHNNY (1) was brilliant here last start. Big chance.
Race 6 - Terrific edition of the Leigh Rogers here and just on pure speed DAKOTA MILA (3) can get lead here and be very hard to catch. HE'S MAGIC (1) is super strong and with SCARY EYES (9) gaining a start he should be flashing home late.
Race 7 - Few different factors in this strong FFA event. FANTASTIC SPIKE (8) is simply brilliant and whilst the draw might be a tad awkward, he's too classy and can power over the top late. FIORANO (2) has speed and can make the most of the inside draw. Needs to not make any mistakes though. XILE BALE (7) is very good, needs to find the rail though.
Race 8 - PAUA OF SILENCE (5) clearly in this. Simply brilliant to break the Broken Hill track record last start and aslong as he gets a couple of clean strides early then he should be far too good. PIERRE BALE (8) is in great touch, he has both speed and strength and could land close. Chance. BALONNE BOY (3) loves being near the inside.
Race 9 - Think that TERRIFIC LUCY (7) has enough burn to cross over here early and take running down. She has been in great form and there isn't heaps of speed in this. BEWITCH (2) has been racing well and with some early luck then can let her strength do the talking late. SPRINGVALE SHELL (3) is talented and should get a decent run early.
Race 10 - A couple of rockets early in this is going to make it interesting! Think that MY KHALEESI (7) can land behind them both early and rattle them late. Just want to see her come out with them. ZINFANDEL EVIE (8) is super quick early and looks a good chance of crossing over. BOOM BOOM JINX (1) will be charging home late, just needs a clear run.
Race 11 – Good race this and all eyes on APILLA (8) fresh off a breathtaking staying win. Drops back in trip which is the worry, but she's run quick times here before. Big hope with some clear running. SEASONAL (5) might be too slick out in front. Loved her effort last week and she can win this. TERRIFIC BAZ (2) is well drawn down low.
Race 12 - Wow what a scamper to finish the night, a couple of jets here! DAYNE'S CALAIS (5) is one of them and he might just get enough room to his outside in this to allow him to explode through. CASH ON DELIVERY (2) is back to his brilliant best, just needs to step well. ASTON CAPONE (3) takes a stride to go but is very quick when balanced up.
