4 nights of Christmas at Angle Park!
Greyhound Racing SA (GRSA) will be getting into the Christmas spirit over the coming weeks with four festive nights for the family, including free kids amusements, a visit from Santa Paws, face painting, live music, as well as trackside food vans and bars.
The 4 Nights of Christmas series, held each Thursday night from December 2, will also provide a great opportunity for families to enjoy warm summer nights as they take in all the thrills of the greyhound racing action on the refurbished Angle Park track.
Festivities will kick-off from 5.30pm each Thursday, with free general admission and free activities for families on the trackside lawns.
“Our 4 Nights of Christmas series offers something a bit different during December, as we know people are looking for opportunities and events to celebrate the end of the year and to appreciate the festive season, particularly in this unusual year,” Mr Corby said.
“It’s also a good opportunity for workplaces to get together for their work Christmas celebration, given the convenience of the offer of a night at the races.”
There will also be opportunities to meet the Greyhounds As Pets and some of our retired greyhounds at the 4 Nights of Christmas events, in addition to the live racing.
The December 23 event will also double as the Festival of Fire, with six feature races offering a combined prize pool of more than $107,000, including the main feature race, The Ashes, with the winner of that race taking home $20,000.
