2014 National SA Nominations for Sprint & Distance

2014 NATIONAL SPRINT & NATIONAL DISTANCE CHAMPIONSHIP NOMINATIONS
At close of nominations GRSA had received a total of 37 nominations for the SA State Series of the 2014 National Sprint and National Distance Championships. There were 24 nominations in the Sprint Series, which compares to 27 in 2013. While the Distance Series has 13 nominations, compared to 21 last year. The Nationals were held at the Meadows last year.
In a highlight for the series last years Group 1 Adelaide Cup winner Ernie Bung Arrow returns to the race track after 7 months away no doubt pleasing his legion of followers.
The South Australian Heats of the Championships will be run on Thursday 31st July, with the State Finals on Thursday 7th August. The winners of the Sprint Final and Distance Final will represent South Australia in the $75,000 to the winner National Finals held at Cannington on Saturday 23rd August. The Box Draw for the heats will be released tomorrow(25th July).
